One of the most popular holiday movies is Home Alone, but did you know that there is a conspiracy theory surrounding this film that involves Elvis Presley? 13 years after his supposed death!
If you are watching Home Alone keep an eye open for the scene midway through the film, where Catherine O’Hara’s character, is bartering with an airline employee to get her on a plane to get to her son. Watch for the bearded man in a sports coat and turtleneck over her left shoulder, standing beside John Candy. My mind is being blown right now!
The guy really does look like Elvis the pelvis! For starters, if Elvis were alive in 1990 when the movie was filmed he would have been 55, making him age appropriate to be the man in this scene. There is some resemblance between the two around the eyes. The man also has a full head of hair similar to the king’s and the two men have similar mannerisms.
According to Priscilla Presley, Elvis was self-conscious about his long neck, which is why he wore oversized, popped collars. And in the film the Elvis look-alike is wearing a turtleneck! Coincidence? I think not!
