This Sunday’s Canadian Made is dedicated to Sarnia’s Sean Hogan. He is undergoing the biggest fight right now — the fight against cancer.
What started as a sore throat, is now tonsil cancer and Sean has to undergo treatment in his fight to beat it. Treatment that isn’t free, or without added expense. Sean is a musician. He loves what he does with a passion. He sings – that’s how he pays the bills. But now he’s not only NOT singing, but he’s not bringing in the cash to pay for his regular bills, but he also has some very expensive medication to pay for.
His friends in the industry have gotten together for a benefit for Sean in London Saturday night (November 5th). Jamie Warren, Jason Blaine, Shelley Rastin, Tonya Kennedy and others will be performing an accoustic set at the London Music Club 470 Colborne St. in London. Doors open at 7:30 and it runs til 11:30. A silent auction and some other prizes as well.
This Sunday, we get music from Sean and talk to Jamie Warren about what Sean is dealing with, and we get him to share a story or two about Sean, who he has said is one of his best friends in the industry.
We also get music from a few of the artists performing for Sean in London – Tonya Kennedy and Jason Blaine, and we get a live performance from Jamie Warren leading up to his new album!
