Larry says "the

We just try to present the facts, as they are, to all of Sarnia-Lambton."
Born in Wingham, Ontario, Larry is the father of three and joined
the staff of CHOK in 1974.
DAVE DENTINGER
CHOK's Afternoon Anchor and Senior Reporter
Dave is a
seasoned veteran of CHOK's News Room with over 20 years of reporting
experience. He says "I stay because I want to work for a news oriented
station - one that's respected as an information outlet." Born in
Walkerton, Ontario, Dave is the father of two.
STEPHANIE CHAVES
CHOK's Afternoon Reporter
Stephanie
was born in Toronto, but grew up in sunny Sarnia, Ontario. She is
a graduate of the Broadcast Journalism program at Fanshawe College.
"As a member of the CHOK news team, I'm kept busy with a number
of duties from newscasting, reporting, conducting interviews and
developing story ideas, in what I consider to be one of the most
interesting news markets in Canada."
MELANIE IRWIN
Reporter
Melanie says she loves
the feeling of breaking news. "Its a rush to know you will
be hearing the story first from us ." Born in Mt. Brydges,
Ontario, Melanie was raised on the family farm and remains a 'country
girl' at heart. She is a graduate of the Broadcast Journalism and
Broadcast Journalism Television - News programs at Fanshawe College.
Jay VanKlinken
Reporter
Jay VanKlinken was born
in London Ontario and moved to Lambton County in 1999. Jay graduated
the Journalism and Communications Media course at Mohawk College
with honours and awards to his credit. In his spare time Jay enjoys
sports (especially baseball), Survivor, Big Band music and spending
time with his wife.
