The Ontario Hockey League announced YESTERDAY that Coach Peter DeBoer of the Kitchener Rangers Hockey Club is fined $1,000 as the result of his inappropriate verbal interaction with the on-ice officials at the conclusion of Game Four in Belleville on Tuesday night.

A trip to the Eastern Conference final couldn't save Brad Selwood's job as general manager of the Oshawa Generals.
Selwood was fired as GM of the OHL franchise YESTERDAY, despite taking the Generals to their first conference final appearance since 1999.
