Dolly Parton Is Putting Future Music On Hold After Her Husband’s Death

Dolly Parton is still mourning the death of her late-husband, Carl Dean, back in March.  Being with someone for 60 years is so incredible, I can’t imagine how strange and sad life must be after they’re gone.

Of course, it hasn’t stopped any of Dolly’s philanthropic or business ventures.  She’s still just as busy as ever.

But she said she’s having a hard time writing new songs.  She said, “I have so much going on, that I can’t afford the luxury of getting that emotional right now.”

She said there’s several songs she wants to start, but she “can’t do it right now.”

Take your time, Dolly.  We love you!  (People)
